I have been traveling for two straight weeks and have covered literally thousands of miles on what felt like an urgent mission to see members of my family for the first time since COVID. Through a complicated and ultimately boring-for-you travel calamaties I am currently writing to you naked from a hotel bed just across the big highway from the Las Vegas strip.

I had hoped to have some deep insights to share. I have been doing a lot of thinking and it has been a tremendous series of days including (but not limited to): dozens of family members, fogged-out Pacific vistas, gambling, many road trips in a row, and an hour or two of hard dancing on a sloped driveway outside a mansion in LA.

But I am pretty much tapped out and need to wake up in about five hours. Hopefully I can squeeze in a continental breakfast before I head out. I apologize for the brief email today and by the time you read this I hope I am airborne.

But what about you? Where have you been driving lately? What feels urgent? Are you dancing in the driveway?
